“David Pershall was extremely convincing in the title role. He conveyed the Don as a slippery conniver—a cad who always has a trick up his sleeve—yet at the same time as a highly charismatic man’s man, capable of charming even the most hostile of foes and the most wary of damsels. He was suave and appealing in “Là ci darem la mano” and nobly defiant in his final confrontation with the Stone Guest.”
